This site is dedicated to the memory of Glyn Jones.
Glyn Jones was born on April 15, 1959. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.
Glyn's family are fundraising for two charities in his memory, the MDS Patient Support Group which works with patients and the families of patients suffering from Myelodysplastic Syndromes, and Ward C6 at Southampton General Hospital, the Leukaemia and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit where Glyn was treated for many months.

Thoughts
I came across your profile again today and thought about you. I never got to meet you, but you are my uncle. You came into our lives 12 months earlier and made my mum so happy to know she had a brother. I always looked forward to hearing about how you were doing and you fought so hard! I still think about you and wish that you were here because its upsetting to know that so many people who love you are left without your brave spirit. I hope that you are looking down on us and protecting us. One day we shall meet. Xox

You gave me my first job Glyn over 30 years ago, selected me to undertake social work training, & appointed me to 2 further jobs after that! You've been a very significant person & valued influence in my career for which I shall always remember & be grateful to you for. Mark

I did not know you, however my dear friend followed your blog as she was starting her MDS journey, I know she emailed you a couple of times also, sadly her MDS progressed to leukaemia and she died in February this year at Southampton hospital shortly after her bone marrow transplant. I kept an eye on your blog to see how you were doing, I'm so terribly sorry and sadden that you didn't make it. God bless you Glyn.
